Weather
A few inches of snow lies on the ground. You'd better have grown your winter pelt, or you might be called weak. Now is the time when prey is scarce, and many cats are killed. It's usually overcast, and occasionally snowflakes drift from the sky for a few minutes. Temperatures are below freezing. Water is getting hard to come by, as most of it is frozen over. The stream still provides moving, unfrozen water. But the stream bed is unfriendly territory to all... ~~~~
